It was an extraordinary experience where we matched the elegance of the design with the creative lighting choices in Mövenpick Hotel
Mövenpick Bur Dubai is a modern hotel offering 312 rooms and apartments, the apartments are situated next to the hotel.
Upscale facilities include a well-equipped gym and an outdoor swimming pool, for full relaxation, guests can treat themselves to a rejuvenating treatment.
Dubai International Airport is 10 minutes away
Rafeed design team conceived the requirements and the message which needs to be delivered to all Hotel customers, through the various lux levels needed in each space, since the lighting design considered the functional and architectural considerations.
Low lux levels in bedroom lighting achieved by the accent lighting design.
Outdoor lighting design that contains Step lights and garden lights, in addition to bollard brilliant location distribution, gives the beauty of details to landscape and open areas .
A mixture of ambient and accent lighting through wall lights and decorative pendant lights were the main components of our design in the reception hall and entrance.
We used Vougue WALL LIGHT to highlight the beautifully designed windows and crowns of the hotel, while also using Cell FLOODLIGHT and Box FLOODLIGHT to bring out the beauty of the hotel façade, linking floodlights with a DMX system to make lights change color and light up the crowns in the sky of Dubai.
As for the landscape;
Talo BOLLARD LIGHT was used in the garden and open areas to define the paths of visitors who are seeking relaxation.
The beauty of trees in the landscape was shown by Falco GARDEN SPOTLIGHT and Cielo INGROUND LIGHT.
Hidden lights were distributed all over the landscape with the help of Maknoon NEON FLEX light which gives a very nice and sophisticated atmosphere.
General lighting was achieved by hidden lighting which took the advantage of the beautiful ceiling design that enabled us to place Serpent STRIP LIGHT which added even more beauty to the design.
Accent lighting benefited from the décor of the reception which allowed Vougue WALL LIGHT to add more elegant details which serve the first impression of all visitors.
In order to help hidden lighting achieve the desired lux level, we used Mila SPOTLIGHT, with wide beam angles
And to guarantee a relaxing atmosphere in bedrooms, we used Directional spotlights
Ambience and comfort need to be conveyed in each guest’s personal space in hospitality, lighting has a big role in providing relaxation in the space, and creating the atmospheres required in Hospitality such as Hotels.
